Today I visited the Textile Art Berlin, an annual event where textile artists and suppliers exhibit together. Aside the beautiful art pieces created by a range of artists and designers there were also many opportunities to renew your stash of fabrics, laces, block prints, dyes, pencils etc for future extraordinary creations!

It’s easy to fall in love with all the beautiful things here and you want to take a lot home with you… These blue silks from Blautropfen, Germany, the shawls, jackets and wooden block prints from Kashmir Heritage in the Netherlands and the exquisite textile bracelets by Eva Lippert, Germany, were among my favourites!

Spoonflower opened a printing factory in Berlin this year and was of course in place for this event. This is something very much appreciated by the European Spoonflower community. My posting will be a bit random over the summer (as you might have noticed) due to a lot of work (which is a good thing!) but I will try to get back to normal as soon as possible! Have a great day everyone!
